Greywater systems can be relatively simple (low-tech) - often installable by the home owner or renter, sometimes with little to no plumbing. Simple systems are relatively inexpensive (<$500 USD). Greywater is a gateway to other conservation practices like rainwater harvesting and composting toilets.
